May Photo Round-up

Our little pool boy. Keira attempting to make out with the gorgeous baby in the mirror. Little lady in the hat posing with Mammau. Keira's new trick. This causes some problems when we try to put her down to sleep. She stands and cries and we have to lay her back down because she hasn't figured how to do it on her own. It's pretty tiresome when she does it multiple times before finally going to sleep, but it's cute to see her standing a smiling when she wakes up. Liam also graduated from his 2-year-old class this past Friday. I can't believe he will be going to an official preschool class in September. He is such a little man!

Happy Anniversary!!

Three years ago, Liam rode in his first airplane, we partied it up with old friends, and Rob and Sara vowed to be together forever. Here's to two wonderful people who became an enviable couple.
Thank you for including us in your day. We remember it fondly. Happy 3rd Anniversary with many more to follow!
Love, Tav and Kyle

Spring Baseball

Last night we took the kids to a Senators game with tickets that Kyle got from work. We go to a lot of games for free that way. It is so nice to park in his work garage, walk across the bridge and spend an evening on the island. It makes me miss walking around in Philly, but it also makes me appreciate that we can still do it on a smaller scale here. The weather was perfect and no one was miserable like we will be if we come to a game in August. I love spring baseball! We don't know if they won because we left after the 5th inning (it was past bedtime!) Mommy and Keira Daddy and Liam The climb and the slide. Last year he wouldn't go down without Kyle. He also wouldn't say hi to the mascots, but last night he walked down from our seats and gave Rascal a high five all by himself. Oh the growing independence. I can barely stand it! Keira watching Liam slide. She was very well behaved and just took it all in.
She has reached so many milestones recently that it is hard to keep track. She can now say "Da-da" and this makes Daddy very proud. She is crawling all over the place and even moves around in a bear walk, picture downward facing dog while walking on all fours. She has pulled herself up to standing a few times and loves to walk around holding onto our fingers. She is soooo close to cutting her first teeth, but she hates letting me feel for them or try to look in her mouth. She can feed herself puffs and drink from a sippy cup. She still loves to clap and play and smile and laugh. Watch the video below to see another one of her new tricks.

Oh no I didn't!

So I broke down and joined Facebook. I wasn't expecting to cave, but so far it seems better then myspace, which I never joined and am still proud of. I really want to use it to connect with my current friends, and truthfully, I'm pretty nosy about what my old friends are up to. I'm not on a mission to have 5000 "friends" consisting of everyone I've ever known in my life. I was just feeling a little left out.
Oh and this is my profile pic. Isn't it good!? Thanks, Nicole!
