Well Rounded

So Liam is reeeaalllyy into dinosaurs lately (reading about them, looking them up on the computer, pretending to be them) so I bought him this egg that he had to chisel away at and look for teeny tiny bones to construct into a dinosaur. Oh yeah, my grocery store sells them, doesn't yours? Anyway, he is going to be a total dork of a mad scientist one day and I LOVE IT!
But he still likes to hang out with the guys, eat pizza and go to football games. So as he'll tell you himself, he's "cool".

Independence Vaca

We spent the Fourth of July in the Poconos with Nannie and Aunt Jamie. It was a very fun and relaxing time. Our goal was to spend very little time inside and I think we accomplished it.
Hiking to the Split Rock:
Fireworks on the Lake:
Fishin':
This trip also marked the weekend that Keira stopped nursing and made the switch to formula (expensive, liquid Similac formula) but formula just the same. I do not miss breastfeeding at all. I'm glad I did it for 9 months but when your baby tries to stand up on your lap and look around with your tata in her mouth, it's time to give it up.

Treasure Hunt

While we were in the Poconos, a pirate left a treasure map on our front door. Liam was very excited to go searching.
Showing off his map.
The next landmark is that way!
Finding the bowling pin that we found in the woods when we were making the map.
Digging for gold.
But finding a book. To Liam, good as gold.
