Meeting Cole

Last weekend while I was at my March, Kyle took Liam up to Dushore to meet Cole and attend his baptism. Everyone was impressed with Kyle for making the trip alone and chasing after a busy toddler all afternoon. But all of us that know him well knew he could handle it. Kyle and Brad with their boys. Doesn't Liam look huge in this picture. I'm not used to seeing him with anyone younger. Of course Liam, ever the hugger, squeezed Cole until he cried.
Anna and Scott chillin with Liam.

OH - IO

This past weekend we made the 7 hour trek to Columbus for Maile's birthday party and to visit with Uncle Shawn and Frances and watch the draft. We all had a really good time and Liam was very well behaved in the car. Maile's party was at an indoor playground. The kids were sweating up a storm.
The birthday girl!
Maile gave Liam her old trike because she is too big for it. It fits Liam perfectly. On Saturday we went to a children's science museum. Liam wanted to touch and play with everything and we all had a great time. I was a bit of a drag in the water section because I didn't want Liam to get all wet and be soggy the rest of the day, but Kyle survived my whining and was still able to help Liam play in the exhibits.
This picture doesn't do justice to the silver pinwheels all glistening in the sunshine. It was really pretty. We will look forward to our next trip west!

4 months

So while the high school students, middle aged hippies and Snoop Dogg were celebrating their holiday, I took a March for Babies. Thanks to everyone who donated money to the worthy cause. Yes, my big pregnant butt finished the whole 4 miles. Speaking of my pregnant butt, let's take a look at my pregnant gut. It has really popped just in the past week! I have been feeling little kicks and movements everyday but nothing that Kyle can feel yet. Our ultrasound is scheduled for May 23rd so we have a few weeks to wait to see Button's little fingers and toes.
Yesterday since the weather was gorgeous we decided to wash cars and pull weeds. What an awesome Saturday! and I'm not being sarcastic. We had a blast. Liam's cheeks were bright pink so I decided we needed to go in for lunch and cool off.
Cheese!!

Please Don't Stop the Music

This is what Liam does when he's supposed to be getting dressed. He loves playing with Kyle's clock radio and turning it up as loud as it goes. He also likes to watch himself in the mirror. (If you are confused by the end of the video, there is a large barrel in the neighbor's backyard turned on its side and Liam thinks it looks like a big cooked ham.) I only caught the end of the song, but enjoy.

Babies and Baseball

I had my 15 week checkup this morning and everything is fine. Baby Button's heart was pumping away at 155 bpm and it took the doctor no time at all to find it. She just put the Doppler below my belly button and "Thump, thump, thump!" there it was. Then Liam took a great big dump in his diaper and stunk up the whole room and our day was off and running. Liam sitting in the house I made for him. It lasted about 2 minutes and then we decided it would be fun to knock down.
This past weekend Liam and I went with my mom to Fan Fest at the York Revolution ballfield. She has season tickets so we went to check out where her seats would be. But first we had to stop at get some yummy, greasy pizza at Marcello's.
Posing with "Downtown" the Revolution's mascot. Liam had to give all the characters a high five.
