Like Father, Like Son

In case you missed it, there was a large pull-out poster of Ms. Spears in the last issue of US Weekly. I showed it to Liam and asked him what he thought. He said, and I quote, "Oh yeah! She's hot!"
Oh yeah. I'm in trouble. If he starts wearing wife beaters and his dancing skills miraculously improve, I'll let you know.

Quick Update

My little button is now 7 months old. She is so close to crawling. She can push herself backwards and pull herself around in a full circle. She is still saying Mama all the time and can click her tongue. Today she started eating rice cakes and loved them. She can wave hi and it is so cute because her whole arm flails up and down. She still laughs like crazy at Liam's antics and cries when she is not getting her way or enough attention. She truly is a wonderful child.
Last Saturday, Kyle and Liam went fishing. Luckily Pappau and Uncle Wayne went too because they caught a couple fish and let Liam reel them in. He was so proud of his catch when they got home. He helped gut them and cook them and "chop their heads off Mom!" He has the makings of a true outdoorsman.

"Struck Him Out!"

Rest in Peace, Harry. I will forever miss you saying these words.

April Showers bring . . . mucus!

Not much is new in Thee Olde Family's house lately. We're enjoying the random sunny warm days when we can and vegging inside on the cold rainy ones. Liam is excited for the Easter Bunny to come. I'm excited to eat Easter dinner. The kids are both dealing with colds . . . Again!!! I'm so sick of the snot and coughing. They both slept through the night for the first time in about a week last night, and it was glorious to get 8 hours of uninterrupted slumber.
In other news, I've finally come to terms with the fact that I'll be breastfeeding Keira until she gets the green light for cows milk on her first birthday. I bfed Liam for the first 6 months and then we made the switch to formula. He was fine with this and life was good. I got a bit of my freedom back and feeding in public was much easier. Keira, however, has a much more delicate palate and has decided that formula is not fit for her consumption. (I can't really blame her. I tried some and it made me gag.) So I will have to continue to pump if I want to go anywhere without her, and she will continue to get tons of good mommy bonding time. She is my last baby after all so I need to cherish the next 5 1/2 months because "what my baby wants, my baby gets." Bright Blues - photo by Liam
Doesn't she look huge when Liam holds her?!
Leaving for the first day of trout fishing. They caught one!! It was big enough to keep, but Liam decided to let it go so it could get bigger.
Bath time buddies!
Ready for a jog!
