When it's hot, it's hot but when it's HOT it's . . . well who knows, but I'm sure you all feel where we're coming from. Luckily we have a pool to jump into when the sweat starts dripping from our noses after exactly 3.5 minutes of outdoor activity. And since Liam is only 1, only about 1/4 of the other attendees looked at us weird when we let him spend most of the Senators game running around in just his diaper and sandals. What else can you do when it's 92 degrees at 7:30 at night and your kid is miserable. Needless to say we left after the 6th inning. Even still most of this week has been spent inside in the A.C.
Parents, want your toddler to entertain himself while boning up on his fine motor skills? Break out the old games from the basement and let him loose with the Connect Four board. (Good thinking Kyle!)
On the one day this week that we did decide to brave the heat and take a jog, it ended up being too much for Liam and he passed out. Here's to hoping we get a cool down soon and maybe some rain too.
